What you should know about The Australian Chitokai Karate Association

Karate in Lake Macquarie, Associations in Lake Macquarie

The Australian Chitokai Karate Association teaches a core curriculum of Chitokai Karate, our interpretation of the conventional method of ChitoRyu as taught by the founder, Dr. For we who study, of course, the main purpose of karate training is to master technique, make a well body, have respect and manners, fortify an indomitable spirit, and to foster the growth of these kinds of people. The purpose of the association is to support fellowship of its members who examine Chitokai, and to trail the teachings of Dr Tsuyoshi Chitose, founder of ChitoRyu. Through the pursuit of excellence in training and the exemplification of the values of martial arts we aim to make a definite contribution to the communities in which we live. b) To establish universal criteria for standards and to ensure that those standards are maintained in all Chitokai dodos. c) To support inter school and interdojo competitions, seminars and events, and to encourage competitors for these competitions. e) To contribute to the professional development of aka instructors and prospective instructors and referees. One discipline, which originated in Shari City, a town of nobles and samurai, was called Shari no Te (now known as ShorinRyu). Importantly, O’sense was a medical practitioner, and he was apprehensive about some of the negative effects of the earlier training methods. He therefore based ChitoRyu on safe medical, physiological and scientific principles in order to foster health in all, especially the young. The Australian Chitokai Karate Association became an self-reliant association in 2004, behind a exceptional resolution of members voted in Cavour of pursuing self-reliant examine of Dr Chitose’s method and is independent of the International ChitoRyu Karate Federation. Her thesis highlights her growth in accepting of what it means to be a woman and a mother in martial arts, and is a must read for all martial artists. Sakamoto sense was so impressed with her insightful and smart thesis that he sent the essay to his own ally and mentor, Shinzato sense in Okinawa, who responded that. A man often develops the martial art theory relating only to technique. This is obvious in observation of the technique and teachings of his soninlaw, Sakamoto sense. A practicing mechanical engineer, Ashley has responded to the many Tojo discussions on the physics involved in the generation of power in karate techniques. It is the best history of O'sense and the foundations of the ChitoRyu method of karate that I have read, and I encourage all Chitokai karateka to read it. The opportunity to train with him should not be missed so plan your training around the sessions at Warner Bay. Looking forward to a vast year for aka and NCAA. The standard was exceptional, as students tested their understandings on the floor with the full gathering of Chitokai black belts, who all reviewed their technique and applications earlier family, friends and brown belts who were invited to witness the grading. We expect that all candidates will continue to demonstrate the traits that took them to their black belt exam. Did you know that the ordinary family home pumps about eight tonnes of greenhouse polluting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year? We in Chitokai karate believe that our mission is to make a sure contribution to the community in which we live. Our executives discussed our mission statement and we agreed that our responsibility as a martial arts organization is not honest to improve self defense skills, but to encourage people to think about what it is to be a community, and to consider ways to improve it. Email them to us and we'll add them to the list.
